This song, which appeared half a year later, recounts the pain and grief that the band members felt after his loss. At 1056, “Save Me” was the longest A7X song ever recorded until the release of Exist in their 2016 album The Stage, which clocks in at 1541. Coincidentally, frontman M. Shadows also sings these words on rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s song of the same name, on which guitarist Synyster Gates is also featured.
